Thanks Guyz... $500 buys about 8 hours track time. Well worth it! The problem is driving home in those windy roads I found myself hitting the apex...those darn double yellow lines kept popping up in my passenger rear view mirror!

Good idea with the bra, I bought one.....I had ZERO and I mean ZERO chips in my paint before putting on 230 miles around that track...now I have about 4 or 5. Oh well. I never thought they might not be allowd, havent tried. Those Beamers and even Porches were easy to eat due to the long straits at The Glen ... but man, I face the fact the center of gravity on many of those cars makes them handle through the turns in a way i cant without hurting my drag capabilities and spending bigger cake. I had a hard time (both due to experience and handeling) keeping up with an excellent driver in one of those Wolfberg VW's.

Those pics did come from my 1st time out. At the time I had stock suspension... and was running a Cartek Stage 2x set-up with 427 RWHP...amazing you cant see the QTP long tubes hanging under the car...very nice headers though they are long gone in favor of the turbo set-up. Not sure how the turbo car with a 3500 stall is gonna like the track this spring, guess I'll have to be a little careful stomping the gas in the turns! Road courses are probably okay, but auto x is out of the question with this set up (high stall outo w/ turbos). Everyone should try lapping sessions. Most of the day I was able to race around the track with the top DOWN! This was early in the day before my instructor said...drop the top..which i did for the final day and a half of the fun.
