Default pictures of my z28 (56k no)

i realized i have never really posted much here... car has been a daily driver pretty much it's whole life. here are a few random pictures.

lt1 seats for now until i get some nicer racing seats

custom made fuel cell with stock hat and assembly

engine bay, a/c delete makes plugs so much easier.

the cheeta shifter (will never go with anything else for aftermarket haha)

fjo wideband

here is one of the car when i was pulling the motor to do the heads and new cam

the car sitting at a wawa up in va somewhere after a winter road trip

my buddy lol

at a gun range that i had to go through a rough "dirt road" to get to haha (notice nearly no cars were there)

this was a 2 step colder plug but wasn't recessed.

these were some tr6's lol

not hard, had to move the air bag computer, modify the depth of the cup holder and a few other little things but it wasn't bad. i love that shifter though and will never go with any other.

Car is very nice. Have any 1/4 mile times. From the pics it seems to be short timing pretty good.

in all the time i have had it on this setup i haven't gotten to a 1/4 track. i tried twice in orlando and both times didn't get to make a pass due to rain or a million crashes/break downs. but it has gone in the 1/8 6.6's 6.7's at like 100 or 98 with a 1.42 60 foot. found out it was running with a valve fucked up and a plug that blew a tip, so i was pretty pleased with the times considering.

i really want to get it back to the track soon.

Nice car.

Maybe you should try to cruise over to Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA. You could shoot over on I-20 and then cut across hwy 96. It's a really nice 1/4 mile track. The air is awesome right now too.

I have had mine for a few months now, but haven't gotten the nerve to take it yet. lol It's my daily driver and the ten bolts already howling. I don't think it would survive a night of 4K clutch dumps.

is reynolds strict on safety? i don't have a cage or a handful of other things yet so it limits what tracks i can run on.

Yes.....they send ya through tech inspection. It's an nhra legal track. You could get one pass in though. lol I figured you'd have the required stuff since I saw the wheelie bars on the back of your car.

not yet, still too much of a street car imo, has the bars on because i had everything done on the rear and will (shouldn't at least) not need to do anything back there again.
