My CTS-V Sac Raceway Nov 2010
I went to Sacramento Raceway in early November 2010 and ran the CTS-V down the track. First run is the video. Ran a 14.2 by babying the car. I made a few rookie camera mistakes and the remote didn't turn the camera on. Oh well. Here's the vid. Enjoy.

Yes I have only taken the V to the track once. Like I stated, my best run started off good, but shifting from 2nd to 3rd, the rear tires started to hop violently since the car was looking for traction. So I had to get out of the gas to make it stop, and then stab it again. That run was a 14.5 I think.
I wish it was easy swapping a bullet proof diff in the back of the V and calling it good.

Yah you were shifting like you were on a leisurely mountain drive but not a bad time all things considered. What was your MPH? I'd say the comfort of a V is a worthwhile tradeoff for the lack of "Raceablility" stock. I'm just amazed the 1st gens are still so expensive.
