Look how close the viper comes to the soft side of the road! Not entirely too intelligent.

'Busas are scary. Even stock. Sport bikes in general are scary. I'm still scared of my CBR600! I think that's a good thing, though. I shall learn to respect the fear, then move on. GSXR750 next, then maybe 'Busa. Good vid, btw.

Manny doesn't have as much money into that car as you might think. When he bought it used, it already had all the autoform bodywork, wheels, and it had 40k on the clock. The only thing he did enginewise was sending it to DLM for a Novi supercharger.....runs about 25-30k....there is a 'viper tax' on that work, hence the high price. But about half of what a lingenfelter tt 650hp corvette package goes for. Other than that the only things are a few suspesion tweaks and saftey gear (rollbar, 5 point harnesses).

Funny thing is, that he had about 100lbs of stuff in the back of the car from when it got shipped back to him (old suspension parts, part of the exhaust, swingouts for the rollbar, and 5 point harnesses). Mighta run a little bit better without the weight tax; every little bit helps when racing a bike. Great video, well put together.....the forum where Manny cruises and a lot of other viper owners and myself (viperalley.com) has been talking to the guys on the bikes. They have been posting over there and commenting on the race.

Awesome viper. The mph difference between the piped busa and the nitrous busa was unbelievable...the nitrous busa looked like it was about to go back in time.

Then you can imagine how much of a faster heartbeat a nitrous fed busa could get there!

Fine video! I'd be interested to know how much buffeting, if any, the bike receives from the Viper at that speed.
