No, they did not. They only tested a V6 camaro and wrote a scathing review, which you can find on their site under the search engine.

They had one of a Mclaren F1 which was awesome as hell. I got it off Kazaa Lite.

Back in about 98 or 99 they tested a Z28 and slated it. Said the only good thing was the engine and straight line performance. They were wrong of course, but it didn't help me when I was singing the praises of what a real car should be like. The Camaro was sold here in the UK in Z28 and V6 forms for a couple of years but never caught on because the UK is right hand drive and most people think American cars are not "proper" cars and seem to be obsessed with German cars. WTF? I get more favorable comments and thumbs up when I go out in my TA than almost any other cars on the road. People love it even though most don't know what it is.

One of my best kills was a V12 Merc S600 coupe which I killed with my 94 LT1 TA last year

I guess being that the men on TopGear have driven everythign from electric cars to McLaren F1's you start to compare it to other vehicles. So if u just got done driving some super expensive F1 car in a supercar body with a carbon fiber body and so on....then you drive a Camaro, your going to be a bit biased.

I don't think they give each car a clean slate when they test them. More so comparing them to previous cars driven.

I agree. But I don't see anything wrong with that. The F-Body's greatest strength is its engine and straight line performance. Honestly, I probably wouldn't think too much of it either if I just stepped out of a Porsche GT3 or Ford GT40.

Unless it costs more than $100,000 or is made in Europe, they don't like it.

It's not posted anywhere, I just remember watching it on Top Gear here in the UK about 6 years ago. It was also the old format half hour Top Gear, not the current hour long show and the driver was Tiff Needell, not Clarkson.

tis funny cause most of the cars in europe are now 1.6 litre or less tiny boxes or TDI's.

I think i saw a 1.8T VAG in an audi A6 wagon. The only real motor i saw in amsterdam was an old chevy and the "special" taxi that blakes hires for its guests..

What everyone else drives in europe:
