That was a sweet vid. For 400 HP seems like it took awhile to get the tires smoking. Is that just me being ignorant. I have all around discs and damn 3.08 in the rear and I light em up faster than that.

Didnt sound like they were on it at all at first, then they got into the throttle some more. Thats why it took a while. GM prolly told em to go easy on the cars. IE, no clutch dumps.

I don't know why GM would say that. I know in my truck the begging of the burnout is slow then it speeds up alot I don't know why. Good burnout though.

I dont know about you f-body guys but in our trucks we have to overcome the ABS befor the tires start to really spin. If you pull the fuse it really changes the way our trucks do a burn out.

They should have shifted into 2nd that would have made for a hell of a long one. With 400 hp they should be able to, I could with just boltons.

That was weak. I agree with 00Z-28Maro and I would have done the burnout in 2nd, but i dont know if they would have been able to. They looked like they could bearly spin them in 1st. Now if they had used some C6's then that would have been awsome.

Hadn't heard that about the fuse. I know, it burns out slow then it's like the brakes disengage and it really gets going.

I think the 400 HP was both of them combined.

I wonder what the new SSRs will do? My guess is like a 14.3 at 98 mph.
