twin turbo lingenfelter GTO

I know i'm going to get yelled at but, 510hp? that's it? From a Lingenfelter modified engine...AND twin turbos? i was expecting 600hp or so.
But, i realize that it could be on a mild boost setting, and tuned conservatively if this is their first GTO they've heavily modified and they wanna play it safe.
i'm merely mentioning that when i hear the name Lingenfelter that usually accompanies the hp range of 600+hp like their TT corvettes if i remember correctly, the name screams tire shredding power to me when i hear it. 510rwhp is nothing to shake a stick at...(more than double what i have at the crank
) but i was slightly expecting more.
Now where's the videos? lol

Is that a chasis dyno graph? Seem that it would be closer to 600bhp. Either way it's nice and I'd take it in a heartbeat, and I'm not even that fond of GTOs.

This tread is worthless without vids!!!
Mane that is some good stuff!!!
there isnt anything wrong with a 510hp grand prix!!! LMFAO I'd like a GTO but I wouldnt get rid of the SS for one. I just like the fact that they do look so much like a GP that it makes it a nice sleeper IMO

hope this answers some questions
First off guys,
The pictures look awesome, and still don't give this car its due credit. Truly one of the more unique pieces to come out of our shop.
AND I AM WITH YOU ALL, I WISH IT WAS MINE TOO! Oh well, I'll keep chipping away, and working every day.......
I don't have any accurate pricing as I am sure you can appreciate, as Walkers car was the first GTO. Essentially it is the same as our 550 TT Corvette, but the packaging of the turbos, intercooler, and ductwork, is much different. There is a lot of R&D into the packaging of the turbos, fuel system, exhaust manifolds, as well as figuring everything out, so you really can't count all those man hours, and miscellaneous footsteps that won't need to be traveled again on a second package. And the total imput of parts and labor are not accurate to what it would be to duplicate. The GTO turbo system like we can offer does require quite a bit more fabrication, than any other Turbo car that we have built, so naturally, it is more than the Corvette packages. Walker didn't have to take too big a leap, otherwise known as a Guinea pig, because the total of TT setups built is over 200 to date, so it wasn't as if there wasn't a plan involved Now if this were the very first turbo car a shop has ever built, that would be a Guinea pig.
Walker has a large single intercooler behind the front facia, rather than 2 like the Corvettes. The turbos used are a hybrid, that could handle about 14 to 15 lbs of boost before becoming very unefficient. The upside is response, and power down low. A huge turbo makes most of its power on the high side of the curve, and sacrifices some response down low. Of course for the full potential of boost would need to have the built internals, and race fuel with the proper calibration.
As far as the fuel system, hybrid turbos, BOVs, and related turbo items go, we have a lot of time and developement involved to figure all of this out, so you didn't think I would just tell you everything now did you??
sincerely,
Jeff

They are using 2 sc61 turbos good for about 680hp each of which I will never see the full potential of, I'm going to tune for 600-700 rwhp. Which after a ton of research seems be close to the limit of the stock bottom end. I'm also doing heads, BMR stuff, etc.
