Short Vid Me (Z28) vs My Dad (C5) - what do you think? I made this short movie to humilate my dad on 4th of July weekend when our whole family is out. I'm burning it to a DVD for all to watch. Long story short he had been talking trash about how is Vette was going to beat me.... I don't want to ruin the ending but here it is WATCH IT I SPENT 4 HOURS MAKING THIS!:

Are you running street tires? if so, you might not want to be in the bleech box as long as you were, a quick chirp to clear the pebbles would be prime.
Also did you load the TQ at all during the run? I couldn't tell, you edited the staging.
And Air pressure. Got any idea what you ran for pressure?
Just try'n to help ya out.

my 60 ft was 1.975 - I have Nittos and I didn't really burn them at all. I also have been so afraid to spin I've been really babying it off the line. Next time my first run I'm going to do like a 5 sec burnout and then mash the pedal and see if I hook.
Also my shift points were all screwed up AND it was 88 degrees 75% humidity that day.
All those excuses add up to 12.5 next time or else.

re: stall - I am planning on getting a verter in a few months - probably only a 3200 'cause it's my daily driver (I know, I know, go bigger). I feel like I should be hitting mid 12's now though, so I want to get a few more trips to the track and master the car as it is....
