I need pics so i can finish the thread on shifter removal and get on with the engine removal for corvette owners. Here's what i need...
1, The ashtray and the 3 Torx 15 screws holding it in showing the location clearly.
2, A picture of the rubber nut close-outs at the back of the glove box showing location as well.
3, Same as above without the close-outs in showing the 10mm nuts.
4, Glove box with lid removed.
5, Shifter console removed and installed or in between.
6, A top pic showing the shifter's 3 Torx 40 bolts location.
7, Shifter shaft before and after removal.
Thanks, you can post the pics up here or the thread itself, or you can email them to me, ls1_2000@yahoo.com .
I am working on a Corvette, F-Body, and Truck engine removal how-to threads and want to be able to show pics and get a good visual so people can have the confidence in doing these things by themselves or with a friend's help. I will post the link to the "shifter removal for Corvette owners" at the bottom of the page. If I didn't make myself clear enough on a particular part of the removal, or missed a step or did something without having to, please let me know. I do not have access to a Corvette and really need these pics to get this thing done. Thanks.

I have the following pics now, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7. Thanks alot for the pics.
I still need the following thuogh, 1, & 4.
#1 is the most important I can call it a done deal with just that pic. Can some please just simply take a picture of you ashtray open to where the screws can be seen clearly? I would do it myself but I do not have a corvette, and the f-bodies are different. We are all poor down here and cannot afford a vette, lol. Thanks alot in advance.
