That was some great rowing. the cobra seemed to be a little slow on that. Otherwise, 260 horsepower should have made up a little distance. Maybe Hellion wanted to satisfy a dyno queen, or he wasn't running very much boost at the time. I didn't really hear any spooling and usually you can. Maybe he just had the boost way down. Anyways, keep entertaining us.

He had to have it on low boost or somthing. That certainly aint 260 hp faster. I knwo he was spinning alot but comon. If he finds that he cant get traction in 2nd from teh first couple races why does he keep trying in 2nd. Or what ever gear he starts in? Does anyone know where we can find this guy online and try to get his side of it? I dont think anythign was unfair but it annoys me to see people say xxx rwhp and it seems like they have only xx hp lol. Awesome vid as always ter. GL

an 800rwhp v8 is gonna make a TON of torque. which is gonna cause traction problems in any gears. plus you jusy dont walk back on a cammed and sprayed ls1 like that cobra did if your not making a TON of power.

The Cobra was on high boost. We were going from a 30 roll, he was hooking up but not spooled all the way. I'm sure from a high roll he would walk away from me, but from a 30 roll, all of my power hits at once, his doesn't. That's why I was in front. And, he was catching me, but by 130 I was done. No more 150+ runs for me.

I am using a sony mini dv camcorder.

yea i could tell the cobra wasnt spooled at all, his best thing to do is to launch at 5000rpm and hold on. When i first clicked the vid i knew u were goin to jump out on him hard core, but turbo cobras are not very good on the street. ive seen plenty of videos where they get handed there *** almost everytime.

Agreed, so far from the vids ive seen of turbo cobras i am not impressed at all. Either he needs to brake boost or go from a stop and use a two step or soemthing. Ive seen better results out of the twin screw cars then the turbo cobras.

Yep, that's the one. I drive it a lot, not everyday but I wouldn't be afraid to. I have a beater, so I try to keep the miles off the Camaro. I do drive it back home to Texas (13 hours) every now and then.
