Default Turbo Yamaha Apex snowmobile.

Well the snow season is here and the Turbo Canucks are out in full bore! We're talking about 200-800 horsepower snowmobiles!

This is a vid of a local guy to be riding the Yamaha's rep's Turbo Apex. This sled makes more power on 12psi then the RX-1(4 cylinder 4 stroke) does on 16psi!

Pics of the Apex...

I'll grab the pics of the 800horse sled(orginally it was a 1000hp engine, now detuned to 750 I believe so it can run at high altitudes)

No doubt. Sleds are getting to be like crotch rockets!

The 1000horse sled... It has a 4 cylinder drag bike engine in it thats on Alcohol. They took it to a shootout in BC... Heli'd it in and when they were about to ride it they couldn't because it was too cold and the alcohol wouldn't burn

Dam Ive rod a RX-1 and it was a hell of a machine a little heavey but fun. I cannot imagine what that thing would pull like. What do you ride? I ride a 05 Rev 800 h.o. and my dad has two 05 mach'z. I like the rev and the F series sled in the backround of some of those pics.

Nice, MC-Xpress has the highest HP Rx1 out right now I think. They are working on the Apex kit.

67, what's faster on the trails? You're REV 800, or the new Machs?

I want to see what the 1000 will do in the MXZ REV chassis. I want to ride one so bad.

Machz hands down but you need to put a ripsaw track on it or stud it that thing is crazy! 180 horse stock ill tell you it will lift the front skis of the ground at 80. Now if you want more of a mogul sled then the 800 is the sled for you for sure. The machz is twice as smooth as the 800 but the 800 is lighter and funner on rough terrian. I had my rev up to 100 for a second on the guys property behind me hes got about a 2/4 mile strip between trees and i just ran it and gunned it. But most defiantly the machz is faster hands down and I have a high output sled. Ill post pics later if you have anymore qeustions feel free to ask.

There are quite a few of these running around. MC-Xpress is a Danish company I believe. But they have some of the nastiest turbo system for just about everything.

500HP hayabusa kits, Lots of 250-300HP Street bike kits, Snowmobile kits, and lots of other stuff.

They hold quite a few records right now. Regardless there are a few US, and Canadian companies joining in as well. Most kits are $5K an up though.

Alberta/ British Columbia, Canada Us Canucks are good at some things LOL.

As for what I ride. I'm poor as hell right now. I had a ZR580 with a shaved head, pipe, stinger, baker mountain tunnel, risers, and the like. Awesome boondocking sled!

My dads getting the bug again for sleds. He was into them like these guys but 7 or so years ago. He took a bad spill and the family moved. We'll be back on sleds in no time I hope!

Heres some more pics. First few are the beast(1000hp sled) and the others are shitty quality from a photoshoot. Pics were taken by "Photo's by Graham" The pics DO NOT do them justice seeing how I killed the quality.

Bigger throttle bodies then US! and he has 2!

One Stuck

Two Stuck

Steep enough?

Nitrous fed Triple
