my argument is.... They still ahd to spend 10 grand on a 4 banger to get 400hp, that $1500 would have gotten you the same power out of a v8......

I don`t care what you say. A 383 should easly push 450-475rwhp and easly 550-575 on a 100 shot. I got that with my H/C set-up and with spray. I could see the run being tight on motor, but the spray should have been differant. Not saying the civic isn`t fast. Like I said before, Good Kills!

If you are refering to the srt4 you are incredibly wrong....The cars are so under-rated, but you can get them into the 12's for $500.....

at ~$2500 for a 400+whp 4-door 4-banger, it isnt that bad.

Who says that 383 wasn't fast, it was probably fast as ****! However, it was being beaten... it lost to a faster car. It doesn't mean the 383 should've been faster. It ran as fast as it should and got walked by a faster car.

Oh, and getting 550 rwhp out of an F-body being cheap? Ah... No. Trust me, I know. I getting tuned for 8 psi with +500rwhp with the right supporting driveline and suspension mods and it's OVER $10.
It's an SRT-4, not some rare exotic with ultra-expensive parts. Doesn't take much to get them faster than they already are.

im here in jax fla, rickky is the owner of the 383 TA he actually just totalled it so it sucks, but there was some debating about the video, Ricky claims he wasnt spraying, people just knew he had spray and assumed he was spraying.. I believe him, he would of pulled the SRT4 if he was spraying. I have been in the car on motor and its fast as hell...props to all the cars though...Steves car (civic) from velocity is fast as hell too. Props to all

first race he got walked hardcore 'off the bottle'
then him and the srt go 1v1 and they are much closer, but he loses at end...im going to have to say he was spraying..

gotta love big turbo srt's. that car probably runs mid to high 11's 1/4 and traps at 120 plus. they have monster top end. and that civic is even faster now thats some crazy ****. a civic whoopin on a nitrous fed ls1 and a big turbo srt something u dont see every day.
