Not likely. You must have missed the race against the 150 shot, H/C bolt on Trans Am. Terminator raced a stock Ford GT. That thing is just plain ******* nuts. Imagine an exhaust with 100 octane too. Unreal. It will take a highly modded C6 Z06 to hang with a modded gt. Terminator makes less HP and weighs more and the GT has better gearing and aerodynamics. Forget the price issue bull **** too as everyone calls BS on that when the Cobra guys use it while losing to a C6 Z06. Nothing against the general obviously, see my sig but Im a car enthusiast at heart.

yeah it hung fairly good untill he either missed a shift or what (bounced off revlimiter) and it killed his momentom (sp)

Sounded like he either missed a gear or hit the rev limiter. Either way like I stated it puts out less Hp and tq and weighs more than the GT. He would have lost either way. After watching and listening to it a few dozen times I have come to the conclusion that car is pure sex on wheels. The good ole USA boys have stepped up to the exotic plate with the GT and new C6 Z06.

Keep in mind the GT is getting a full exhaust and a 100 octane tune which means 25 psi as opposed to 21 psi it is currently running. Cobras with the Whipple 2300AX blower put out about 650 with the "good gas" and only 4.6 motors. Add more cubes, better heads better cams, better aerodynamics, better gearing and less weight than the cobra and that adds up to a mean car. 750 rwhp is attainable with the GT. The Z06 would give it a great run but know one nows how strong or how much power the LS7 can handle especially when boosted or sprayed for long periods of time. I'm sure we will find out eventually though.
