I wouldn't say that beating a stock or very close to it LS1 with a full bolt on GT is getting owned... maybe GT owner should feel owned that it took him a **** load of money and mods to beat stockish car...
Nice video none the less

that camaro had a race with a '02 stock GT and that gt didn't even shift to third cuz he knew there is no way to be close to the z28,
I used to have the video somewhere , I'll post it as soon as I find it

I've owned a full bolt on gt with a cams, 4.30s, full suspension on slicks and skinnies
Car went 12.4@ almost 109
My SS with a stall full exhaust, and a lid/k&n filter is quicker. My Gt was a monster out of the hole but cant pull midrange and top end like an ls1 can. As far as power diff my gt made 298/312 with all that work done my ls1 made 317/335 in 113 degree temps. Track times my gt went 12.4@108.88 in very good weather da was around 600 to 800 and was able to pull a 1.65 60' and car was around 3250 with me in it. My full weight(nothing taken out even spare was in the car) SS in 100+ temps da a little over 4800 and a clogged cat)brick was stuck in the outlet when i pulled it out) went 13.5@101. My 60' time was a 1.98. My gt was on a et street 26x11.5 et street slick my ss was on a 275/45/17 nitto drag radial.
