I compared the Borla exhaust on the Viper to my 00 Coupe Corvette. I was able to take a movie of the Viper exhaust. I have the corvette borla exhaust coming for the vett, the sound clip I have is from a friend.

The Vipers have too much of a "whine" for me. They just dont sound right, no matter what catback. Ive heard Poorla, and Corsa systems on 'em, and im not too impressed.

And not tryin to be an ***, or anything, but its a pet peeve of mine, to spell/say it vette. Just kinda urks me seein vet/vett when talkin 'bout the car

What kind of Cam do you have on the Viper???? Has a little lope to it. And I agree with the above, the Viper sounds "different". But I also have to say your Viper is one of the better ones I have heard.

I dynoed my car with the stock catback and with it unbolted and it only gained me 9 rwhp totally unbolted.
I have TPIS headers MTI custom X-Pipe and the stock catback and it sounds nice. The car makes over 410 rwhp, so I would have to assume the factory catback is not that restrictive.

It sounds good. What do you mean to pay for the new one? Are you getting a new Viper? It will sound different on the Vette considering it's a V8.
