The smoke was from a coolant hose coming off....
Mods on the coupe are:
2003 Cobra Longblock
Livernois Motorsports Custom 76mm Single Turbo
Spearco 2-Core Intercooler (Interior Mounted)
Custom Fuel System
Lentech AODE
Tuned by Livernois Motorsports
It's not uncommon to see him driving it everywhere in the summer... to the mall, to work, cruises, shows, etc and it's driven like he stole it all the time!

so they stopped traffic on a main street with what looked to be a 100 spectators and they street raced? That is crazy, they have some *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fox body is pretty badass. It would be relatively affordable to replicate too. 
I looked up prices for some cobra stuff, not too pricey.
Short block: 1100
Heads : 1000
Intake: 800
Turbo: 1500 Turbonetics (T76)
Plumbing: 1200
FMIC: 800
Fuel system: 1500
T-56: 1000
Built 8.8 rearend: 1200
Foxbody: 2-3.5K
You could have a seriously fast car for 12K easy.

Those videos don't really capture just how quick that fox 'stang is.

I'm still picking my chin up!! That is absolutely sick!! Beautiful Fox Body and I am not sure if I would say "***** Out Fast", maybe "Cough Your ***** Out Fast"!!!!!
