i got a 99 z28 whats the best weight oil to use ive always used syntec20/50 what do you think

5W-30 or 10W-30. 20W-50 is way too much.

I would not use anything more than 10-30, it's not necessary. I use 0-30 Amsoil. Also use search,there is a millon threads on this.

i switch between mobil one 5w30 and mobil one 0w40 ... depending on the season in lovely california

Im using M1 15/50....tropical area, summer all year long, 90,000+ miles, KN oil filter....so far, so good.

I use Royal Purple 5w-30 with a K&N filter. Its really nice, it has a nut on the bottom for easy removal and installation.

I think either your motor is as loose as a 5 dollar hooker or you haven't read your owner's manual.
