Worthless freaking systems. I removed mine as well a few weeks ago while doing my head and cam swap. Whoever invented egr should be punched in the gonads.

blocked off my AIR system w/ sheet metal. has been fine and havent noticed anything but a cleaner engine bay. havent gotten around to removing the pump. and yes the SES light does come on after the AIR system is removed, or atleast it did for me.

back from the dead. that little hose on top of that acorn thingy. the skinny one. what did you use to block it off? I think its causing a leak, cuz my front vents dont blow any more since i deleted the AIR. I also need to plug the one on the lid as well.

I'm curious about the answer to this question too. I think my 00 SS has two small airlines about that same size. One(not the one in the photo) goes behind the intake and connects somewhere(maybe the rear of the intake).
