Default are slp heads any good?

Hey guys any help here appreciated I was going to go with the slp head and cam package but have not been reading goog stuff about them here. If not any ideal what is a good package to go with? I have an ls6 intake. long tubes and loud mouth exhaust.

Like said above they are pricey. Texas-speed has some killer budget combo's as well as a few other sponsers on here. Do some research in the thread below for more stuff about Heads, Cam etc. You can spend anywhere from $1800-$5000. It all depends on you.

Texas Speed as well as a few other vendors here have great H/C packages, that are proven and are a better deal.

what kind of power will this package put to the rear wheels with an ls6 intake? Precision Race Components Stg 2.5 LS6 Heads and ms3 cam?

with headersd/full exhaust i'd say comfortably 450 HP easy, also dont forget about the supporting mods, oil pump, pushrods, etc....

That would give you a huge boost in performance. Dont get too caught up in Dyno #'s. You'll probably make roughly 420-440 rwhp maybe more depending on supporting mods etc.

Pretty good numbers to the rear wheels how much of a improvment would adding a set of AFR heads (205"s) add to this package. If its not that big of an increase I will stick to getting the other heads. Thanks alot for the info great help.

If your on a budget just go with the PRC's. If you can afford the AFR's I say go for it.
