Default What a nightmare - (PLEASE READ)

We'll i posted a little time ago about this, And i dont think my issue is solved.

I had a mobile mecanic replace my oil pan becuase i hit it and made a hole while driving lost all of my oil.

So when i replaced the oil pan i noticed a lack of power. i did a diag on the check engine light and tps sensor was bad i replaced it and cleaned the housing. Still same issue!!

So i took it to another mecanic up the road ,! they ran a compression check to see if the cylinders where good they all turn out good. He said. He claimed they where all over 150, and that every cylinder is diffrent reading ? is that true?. Well while he did comp check , he put new plugs in. And said that fixed the problem... I drove the car feels a little betteR? But still feels a little lack of hall ***? If you know what i mean.

I dont know if this car is in some kind of safe mode limp mode. pulled back timing maybe ? or maybe computer issue? i dont know

The dealer told me the car is running Lean. Mecanic sayed the plugs were soaked in fuel and seam like the car was running rich?

Mods , SLP LM- SUPERCHIP-MTI BOX.

What could the problem be ? remember i lost oil car shut down New pan.
I thought piston ,rings, engine damage etc. But the comp was good?
If it was a bearing i would hear noise right?...

You need to take your car to a diagnostician - not a bunch of mechanics. Nothing pisses me off than a bunch of retards in a hole in the wall shop that just throw parts at your car. Whatever work was done to your car shouldn't have to be paid for because non of these "mecanics" actually FIXED the problem.

You're still getting the check engine light after replacing the TPS? What codes are you getting now? Do you know anybody with a scan tool to see if you are reaching 100% throttle position? Maybe you are not reaching WOT for some reason. And did the dealer say why they thought it was "running lean"? Sounds funny since the mechanic said the plugs looked rich.

I mean something like HP Tuners, EFI Live, Scanmaster and I know there are others that can just scan your vehicles computer while running to tell you everything that is going on. I know with HP Tuners it is free for anyone to scan any vehicle if they have the software and interface. So maybe a local buddy could help you out.

Because 3 pages of the same answer wasn't the quick easy fix he's looking for.

I just read your other thread. You need to mention to people in this thread that you continued to drive the car with no oil until the engine stopped running. You'll need some serious engine work or a new motor.

^^Im with him, but you should have also posted a pic of the damage of where the hole was. Atleast that way you could get some more explanations of what could have happend. (A 1/4 inch hole in the center of the pan can cause different damage from a 3 inch hole in the front under the timing cover)

Above is the problem.
If you didn't shut it down immediately after loosing oil pressure, that would hurt the engine... possibly causing catastrophic failure, your lucky it even still runs.

Sometimes you get lucky and your oil pressure gauge is out of wack or the sensor is broken...but since you mention the oil all over the ground and the oil pan need replacing .... that is not good. sell sell sell, I have $1000.
