So there is this guy i know and we both happen to be pretty big rivals to one another. He has a 98 SS A4 3500stall, slp lt's, ory, ls6 intake, ls6 heads and a cam (all he ever says is that its a .600 lift cam)..We raced a long time ago when the only mods i had were NX 150 shot, slp lid, 3" cutout and some slicks (i beat him by a good 3 cars, maybe more.) Well ever since then he has hated me because he called me out and he lost. He also recently added a NX 150 shot and now he's calling me out again! I want to race him again but now i'm a little worried he's going to get me this time since he's got H/C+juice now. He bought the car with these mods (minus the spray) he's never had it dyno'd or tuned since he's had it. He dosnt really know anything about nitrous so i think thats one of my advantages here. He's running it off a hand held trigger (not WOT, the guy who installed the spray told him not to spray untill 2nd gear) he has no bottle heater and has no idea you need good bottle pressure, he's running a basic spark plug and he's not messing with the timing when he sprays. Those are all important factors when it comes to the performance of spray.
I have a window switch (on at 3200 off at 6000) running WOT switch and NGK tr6's with 900-1050 psi and my other mods are in my sig.
My question is, what do you guys think about this?
what do you think the outcome may be if we raced now?
what are some other mods and things i could do to help out my cars performance and gain some HP?
I'm going to be installing my 3.73's and bumping up to a 200shot real soon (hopefully before this race happens)

Honestly i think you should be fine if you listen to wat streetassasin said, also since you said he isn't tuned for the nitrous and with him just slapping on a 150 shot, he prolly gonna eat sh*t

no this guy is not playing me. This guy is not smart when it comes to cars. He only put the nitrous on so he could race me again and try to beat me. He used to talk so much **** saying i'm going to blow my engine up and bla bla bla that camaro cant handle that much nitrous...seriously he dosn't know much, you would be able to tell by talking to him for 5min.

It sounds like he's running a half-assed nitrous setup (no bottle heater, not changing timing, not changing plugs), so I vote you keep running him until he pops something ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
If you beat him by four cars when he was off spray, I'd think he should make it up on the spray, but my only reference is for people who have it set up right. I'd like to see what happens

Correct, no gears. The first time me and him raced the ONLY mods i had were NX 150 shot, slp lid, 3" cutout and some junk 28" slicks. I remember my bottle psi being around 750 and i had regular plugs, not the tr6's i have now. My car fell on its face out of the hole with those slicks and no stall. He had me by a good 1-1/2 - 2 cars from the start since he was running DR's along with his stall. But once the spray hit at 3300 rpm i ran him down and still got him by a good 3 cars.
