Good receipte for ~500whp LS1
At first, sorry for language mistakes. Try to understand
What do i need for 450-500whp LS1 engine, it will be used at circuit racer / driftcar and should be wide operating range and pretty "bulletproof", engine management is going to be fully programmable one.
Recommendations for heads, cam and intake manifold
What pistons? Do i need better connection rods?
ARP bolts? Lifters, Rockers? What else to look at?
So points is, what to buy, what parts are good for they cost-effective. These engines are little uncommon in Finland where i live.

You will get a lot of advice on this if you move it to internal. Go seach threads by Patrick G and he has one called recipe to 500rwhp. I'll look for it later and try to update this thread with a link.
Having said that LSx cars are notorious for oiling failure in drift and road race cars. The oil sloshes away from the pickup and bearings run dry and bye-bye very expensive motor. A dry sump is the best IMO. There are aftermarket pans with baffles to help with this problem but dry sump is still best. Follow this thread and learn from it what you can........ They are talking about rpm's but it still applies to drift cars.

Yes iīve looked that thread. Just wondered if that info is still current because itīs written in 2007, i meant that have better parts come to market since that.
My friend suggested Dart Pro heads and Lunati harshest cam from summit.
I donīt have endless budget for this project, letīs say about 4-5000$ at max. to engine rebuild. And hoping little less...
