Default Stripped Oil Plug

Well, i was changing my oil and spark plugs today. I decided to let my friend help since the last time he changed oil, he blew up his mustang. BIG MISTAKE!!! As im changing the spark plugs, he strippes the oil plug. How can i get it off to get another one? The 5/8 ratchet goes right over like its hardly there. Advise would be great.

1. Go buy new drain plug.
2. Use vice grips to remove old plug.

A lot of different ways, one being a pair of vice grips^. You can drill it and use an extractor, hell grab a chisel punch and whack it with a hammer, might break it loose.

You could also take a angle grinder and cut a slot into it and use a hammer and a punch and hit it in the counter clockwise motion.

1. See if you can borrow one of THESE from autozone. I think they have bolt extractor kits in thier loan a tool program. And buy the replacement plug while you're there.

2. Don't let your special-ed friends play with your toys anymore.

X 3 on the vice grips.

He didnt put it on with an impact gun so im not sure why some of you guys are saying a extractor, chisel and a hammer, etc. lol.

Have your friend go to the parts store to buy you a new one and a quart of oil so you can top it back off when YOU swap the plugs.

Then have your friend stay the night one night soon, and when hes dead asleep WAIL his *** with a pillow case full of bars of soap for being an idiot.

OR if you can, and have a extra socket a size smaller beat it in with a hammer, not to dramastic, but enough to get it on.
