Default Newbie bolt on questions. (catback & ramair box)

Hi, I've got two newb questions guys. I'd appreciate any help:

1, I have a '98 Formula with stock exhaust.

I have a chance at this Borla catback that is off an '01 WS6.

Will I be able to bolt it onto my formula? And will I see any performance increase, I've still got stock headers and Y pipe.

2, My friend has a '98 Trans Am and is buying a ram air hood.

Will the air box off the same '01 WS6 fit onto my friends Trans Am and make his new ram air hood functional (it's an OEM hood)?

Thanks for the help guys, I know the questions are pretty lame and the answer seems obvious, I just want to check before I part with any cash.

I would say yes to both. And the car has stock exhaust manifolds, not stock headers.

Thanks 1gt2nv.

'And the car has stock exhaust manifolds, not stock headers'

Could you explain the difference, please?

exhaust manifolds = headers. you could say "my car has longtube exhaust manifolds" sounds goofy, but its correct. "stock headers" is just fine
