Default questions about export taillights

are they easy to install and everything, does anyone have a link to a tutorial or something of how to install them...

also are they legal? don't see why not but just a question....

they are legal as far as i know....really easy to install to i'd imagine...really all you have to do is pull down the trunk liner and undo the spare tire panel and such to reveal the two plastic wingnuts that hold each lense assembly on. undo the wingnuts, pull the assemblies out, pull the bulbs out of the back and the repeat in reverse order on the new ones.

I'd love a pair of these but there just too damn expensive...

Make sure you leave a message in the Appearance forum under Export taillights and Ill have your address to contact you about the progress on the lights.

Well I had to modify my sockets to get them to fit.
97-02 are different , the locking tangs are larger.
+ the little 194 bulb on the outmost of the stock tails is now homless in the 93-96 exports.
I just removed the bulb, carfully resized the large socket tabs on all the turn & stop sockets w/a razor.
+ they still fit lock & engage the oe taillights, I switch them back & forth.

wow i wouldnt have figured that. my apologies SS Girl, i figured they would have been the same as any other set of taillights.
