Congrats man! I can't wait to hear what it puts down at the track...

On a more serious note...Your rear end will break, thats at least 2k without labor. Good luck
Have 2k in back up fundage from a credit card or cash ready when the rear goes. It sucks when it does but it's expected when you bump the power up and launching at the strip.

congratz on the mods OP. wish i can make my mind on a cam! too scared to go with anything above 220 duration. people where i live (middle east) keep on giving me the speech of do not go 220+ duration..hell if know why. i need to drive a cammed car to know for my self. good luck post some vids

Interesting.

Could you please give me the date and time mine will break, since you know it will break... I figure you would know this.

I cut consistent 1.50-1.52 short times on mine... Still going strong with no whining at all (373s).

It could last 500+ passes and 20 years or it could go on the very 1st pass. There is no telling if it will go or not.. Same for trans/bottom end/etc.

I'm still a newbie when it comes to cam and everything else but what I researched if you get cammed, highly recommend you get a 12 bolt cause cams are too powerful for our stock 10 bolts, **** blows but congrats on your mods dude, I'm still trying to get headers and a tune, soooo behind.

Stop stressing on the 10 bolt if it goes it goes. But if I cant beat on the stock 10 bolt offroad in my K5 blazer sitting on 35in tall tires and its 21yrs old and has never gave me any trouble at all I feel pretty safe with the 10 bolt in my TA. Im not sayn they are bulletproof but the arent made of glass either

Ya true and to be honest if I get cammed before my 10 bolt breaks ima leave my 10 bolt with the cam lol. I literally didn't think I needed to change my 10 bolt until a thousand people on here said it was a "must" lol, I'm straight on that.

Just run it till it breaks "if" it breaks then worry about it. Ive got my cam, stall, intake, dyno tune and drag radials going on in a few weeks if my 10 bolt is gonna break its going to do it before the end of the summer

Awesome man, I'm sure your setup is going to be sweet! I can't wait to hear what it sounds like, and what kind of power it puts down. Hopefully it might help me decide on what cam to choose

For those saying his rear end will break behind his cammed 3600 stalled auto..... You obviously don't know a damn thing about 10 bolts. They break behind stock M6s on street tires. They can just about pull the front wheels off the ground in an auto without breaking. Its a different application of power. 10 bolts cut 1.5x 60 fts all day in autos.

HEY GUYS!!!

I have some Pics uploaded in my profile of the build... In One of the pics i Still have the small comp cam i was going to use, but switched that real quick once i found out it was crap. And went with a TSP 224 581 114 lsa Instead.

Just so u guys have an idea where im at

I'll post more pics, Specially of the ones where im creating the stripes for the paint. Wanted to have input in that atleast.

Man! I never thought of that. Its all back in the car. Waiting on a metal hose that runs under tb. Was leaking water.

Hope to have a sound clip this weekend... Almost there.

LTs will be good upgrade. If you have heads planned for a future mod, just swap the headers out then.

Thx ibanez... Its been a gd experience havn all these mods done.


SOUND CLIP READY GUYS!!!... They didnt really let it idle to appreciate the cam, but still can tell in short part of vid. Im super excited.
You can also see the wing taped up ready to start the paint process... Almost completed!!! Thx to those again who helped me out in choosing some of my MODS.
