Default How to fix this pcv line? Pics inside.

This is my first fbody. I just purchased it a couple weeks ago. The previous owner pointed out that the pcv line has a crack in it and is temporarily fixed with some electrical tape. I want to fix it. How to I go about fixing this piece? Also, the car has an ls6 intake if that's of any concern. Here is a pic of the problem:

welcome to the .......crappy stock pcv LS1 hose system club......get 2 inches of 3/8 fuel line.......but the other bad news is.....the rest of the hose behind the engine is just as crappy.......consider a LS6 valley cover

Yup. I fixed mine with fuel line too.

I tried looking for a 45 degree fitting, but straight line worked for me.

I actually used clear vinyl tubing at first, because that's the only thing I had on me.

Would adding a catch can fix this problem as well? It looks like the hosing required for the catch can will replace that section anyway? I'll still need to replace that Y on the back of the intake though wont I?

I replaced all my vacum lines and put a T in the back where the Y was. The piece in front that you have circled I replaced that with a short piece of vacum line, and finally got rid of pesky code po507. Replace them all, I bet your car will run better.

Good luck

I've decided to do the fuel line fix for now and when I take the car back out for spring I'm going to do the 04+ LS6 Valley cover and a catch can. Thanks for the help.
