i just traded my ss hood for bbk intake and i got 100 bucks , and i paid 170 for new balncer and arp bolt and belts, is it worth the effort to put the pulley on ??? or sell it and buy throttle body for intake ?? and is the bbk intake smog legal and should i just trade for ls6 intake that will pass visual inspection ?

From what I have seen the slp UD pulley is worth 5-8 rwhp. I dont have any experience with the bbk ssi, but I doubt it will fail inspection.

No EGR on my BBK SSI and I passed visual no problem but thats here in CO so you might want to create a post in the CA section and ask around.

I noticed a nice gain from my asp pulley(judging by a few hwy pulls heading home from the shop)...Guys on this board hate alum. intakes so don't expect much feedback but id say that's good for at least 10.

I believe it has the option for yet but since its not CARB certified find a lenient shop that will pass you because you retain the egr

Thanks for the advice , I have an offer for an ls6 intake and 100 bucks should I do it ? I know there is only 5 HP difference and it Will smog if I put egr in
