Lots of members say it will make your handling feel weird, floaty and unstable when turning at speed. As for weight savings, in general for bolt on f-bodies 100lbs are worth about a 10th of a second in the quarter mile, the sway bar is what 25lbs? If its worth it to you weight wise then go for it. I know lots of guys don't take the sway bar completely off but will just disconnect it from where it mounts by the wheels. It's been a while, but if I remember correctly that lets the car lean more during take off and transfers more weight to the rear wheel to give the car better traction.

Yeah thats what I had thought. I just wasn't sure if it was worth the pain to disconnect it. I had just replaced the bushings on it and the bolts where seized on. A 10th of a second I dont think it worth the trouble.

I don't have skinnies so it would be full size tires still .. But if it doesn't hurt I might as well take it off to get some better weight transfer. I have 2 other cars this car is only when I wanna go out and go fast lol.
