I've been reading up on the SSRA and other CAIs, and I've seen it mentioned a few times that you can't have a SSRA and the radiator shrouds together. I'm new to Fbody CAI kits, so I can't really picture how everything works and sets in place. So I need a definitive answer: Will I have to completely remove my radiator shrouds in order to run a SSRA? I wouldnt like the appearance of no shrouds just to have lower IATs...

I had to remove mine for the SSRA. Can't see how it would fit without doing so

I think you're confusing the shroud with some other part, removing it wont be visibly obvious unless you're looking for it.

Then again I could be wrong I'm just a Hawkeye fan.

Maybe I am confusing parts. The shroud that needs removed is not visibly seen? Maybe Iowa State HAS made me more stupid.

Does anyone have install pictures that show the shroud? I was under the impression that the shroud was the parts to the left and right of the air box and what not

You just remove, cut, and reinstall the lower airbox.

I'm in the same boat. As your looking at the car the piece of plastic that sits in the bumper that the condensor sits in. Can you just remove it or does it help will cooling or any other significant purpose.
