Default Dimensions for Sub-Frame Connectors

Does anyone got the dimensions for Subfram connectors for there car..im gonan build some custom ones in shop class...i finally got good at tig wleding and i think i can pull this one off and save myself alot of money...

Would u suggest Hex tubing or Square Tubing..for itt?? or just plain old circle...im thinken Hex...

Thanks ne one who has these will save my life and my grade..i promised my teacher id have them by tomorrow.

I built the first set I owned also, it was relatively easy to do. If you use some 2" square tubing, it will fit perfectly in the gap between the body and the frame rails.

2" tubing, and some 1/4" thick steel plates on the end. Tack-weld the plates onto the ends of the tubing while held in position on the car. Those plates will be welded to the frame ends once the subframes are fabricated.

I did the same thing only took a couple of hours and I spent alot of time goofing off. If you can weld then go for it!

its called a tape measure i got them all measured up..im gonan start welding them in tomorro wi got 2 hours to do it ..if u peeps want dimensions i can hook u up tomorow.

I got arch burn so im laying off..so ill be glad...to get u dimensions tomorrow..yeh its in my eyes...from the ****** across the room...welding...yeh it feels like sand in my eyes..and it hurts like a bitch.

Best of luck on your newest mod. It's gotta be that much sweeter knowing that you did it yourself, and it cost you next to nothing, AND your school payed for parts and equipment. And all while making the grade. Not bad.

sorry man..i forgot..all about getting you those...my computer crashed..on Friday and i finally got it up and running again ill get them...tomorrow i gott them all written down but...i dun remember...them ..sorry man..they were truly to ez to make...but..it helped my car alot i think..it feels just alot better all around...my hatch doesn't rattle ne more eather..this could be a coincidence..but i swear it don't..
