Calling military members!
If there are any members here that are or WERE Marines, there is a great site available to us. It is free for the first year but only accessible by invite. If you are interested, just drop me a line on what email address you would like the invite to go to. I will be happy to get you on the site so you can post up all pics and info about you and stay in contact. STAY MARINE and SEMPER FI!

What's up CAPT, to answer your question, I'm the guy asking for air support. TACP outta Pope. Hey Devil Dogs, God bless your little hearts, but you guys need to learn to think outside of the box. Hey MySStery, what AFSC did they stick you with......Security Forces? If so, then I would go back to kissin Gunny's boots again, too.

Hey Sniper. Crazy small world we live in. I just separated (well, a year in Feb) but guess where I was stationed? Did you go into Afghanistan with us? Were you there when the "wedding party" got bombed?
**"Wedding Party" is in quotes, because this particular "Wedding Party" had a 4 barrel 20mm AckAck blazing away. When we hit it of course everybody jumped up and down and said it was just a party with some small arms fire for celebration.....

Yeah, I was there, but wasn't involved in the forementioned celebration. 74th or 75th? In OIF 1, I had Mustang(not the car, the person) as a BALO. Broke him in real good, dude eats snakes for fun now. Well, see your living the good life now in sunny SD, good on you. I'm from up north, West Covina. Take it easy. GO HALOS!!!!

Actually no, I went over to be a Bio-Medical Engineer. As for kissing Gunny's boots, never had to stoop to those political levels to get promoted...unlike what I have seen in other branches. The Warthog is a great plane no doubt about it, ugly as hell too. I work with the M1A1 so unlike the fire and forget from the relative safety of the air, I get to take it all in at ground level. To each their own though, I felt that I wasn't making the most out of my potential by being with the AF. To me there was a challenge and experience unmatched by being a Marine.
