Default Lifting front end off the ground

Hello everyone. Just wondering what it would take to be able to lift the front tires up on a launch. By Spring, my car will have about 410 rwhp/390 lbs/ft rwtq. I'll also have a fiberglass hood, and a battery relocation bracket, and am considering getting some skinnies or light wheels/tires for the front. Will this be enough to get that front end of mine up? If not, what do I need? Thanks.

Hmm, actually, racers try to do exactly the opposite...

Lifting the wheels = wasted energy and motion.

Pretty much. I realized that, but I'm just wondering if it's possible, because, if nothing else, it's impressive.

A lot of torque, a lot of traction, but a light front end couldn't hurt either. The skinnies will help, but I would suggest a !Frontsway bar.

Only while it's still airborne, once it lands it becomes costly

A lot of suspension ****, too. The wheels dont like hitting the ground that hard.

Suspension, tire, gear, clutch, weight reduction, and launching off the limiter should do it for you. But like it's already been said, pulling the fronts is a waste of energy, tune the suspension to transfer that into forward motion.

I think you'll be a couple hundred HP off if the suspension isn't built up.

Well, if you're serious, get lighter.

Get rid of everything up front you can possibly ditch and replace what you can't ditch with lighter stuff. Front bumper support, AC, K member, a-arms, light wheels/tires, !sway bar, drag brakes, everything.

Low gears and a high stall, lots of power. I don't think 400 will cut it, but there have been some lower power cars put a little air under the tires on the launch.

Put bags of sand in the hatch area. Hope for the best

Just watch one of Harlan's videos, that will show you what can happen when you pull the front wheels off of the ground.

I'm probably not going to worry about it too much from here, because I definitely can't afford to break anything. Oh well, I was just wondering. So with the setup I'll have in the Spring, can I get a good launch without breaking anything? I'm already worrying about the 10-bolt.
