Ever had a T top explode while driving?

Ever had a T top explode while driving? Yesterday I am cruising down the interstate at around 80 mph when suddenly, the passenger side T top glass explodes! POW! Glass everywhere. I was not under a bridge, so I did not get something dropped on me. The T top was still snuggly locked in place. It just exploded. If it would have been the drivers side......
Anyone else ever have this happen?

If something hit it, it did not end up in the car, I spent an hour getting all the glass out and I did not find any other objects.
The salvage yard I got a replacement from specializes in F bodies and they had NEVER heard of it happening before. They said they would not have believed me but I drove straight there with the top still attached and shattered.

It happened so fast, it seems like I remember something attracting my attention to that side, because I was looking at it when it blew up. I don't remember a rattle though, I don't know what it was that caused me to look over there. I do remember that side squeaking every once in a while in the past, but it was not squeaking yesterday.

or another fbody? anyways that sux man and like said above that would the living hell out of me!

Did you have it tinted? Some guys have had their T-tops tinted and that + the tempered glass + hot sun = explosion.

hehe.
years ago i was driving about 70 in my gf's dads pickup and had a bird fly in the cabin. i heard a loud bang and all the sudden feathers were everywhere, freaked me out until i looked over and there was a damn dead bird on the passenger side. it had somehow flew in the window and smacked the rear window.
