Cabin Air Filter?

Cabin Air Filter?
Do F-Bodies have a Cabin Air Filter? I live in El Paso and the dust storms get crazy this time of the year. Everytime I start the A/C, it blows crap loads of dirt and sand. If there is one, where is it so I can replace it?

I work at CSK Auto and looked it up. It even gave me a Fram part #. It's a special order but don't want to order it if it ain't going to fit. Anyone else know for sure.

I'm pretty sure we don't, I should stop being lazy and read my manual. I have it on pdf file on my laptop. Which is in the same place as my real manual, in the car.

Most GM vehicles have them. I'm pretty sure F-Bodies should have one as well. I'll look into it and keep you posted. I already ordered the fram(CF8804) filter for my car. I'll see if there is a place to put it though.

I had never even heard of a cabin air filter until my Aunt had hers replaced in the Buick a few weeks ago. I was wondering if we had them. If we do, I'm definately getting one. I'm sure it needs to be replaced after 7 years anyways. My allergies go nuts this time a year and any little bit wiil help.
BTW, nice post and a very good question. Please someone keep us informed.

I'll get my filter tomorrow but I have no idea where it goes yet. I'll figure it out tomorrow. Hopefully. I'll keep you posted.

I have my filter already but I have no idea where it goes. I called a couple of GM service people to see if they could tell me anything about where it goes. But nobody knew what I was talking about. I'll keep looking and let you know when and if I find out where it goes.
