Default How to get car dealers decal off rear bumper?

What is the best way to remove the used car dealership logo that nearly every dealer puts on? It's right in the middle of the back bumper and very unsightly. Thanks for any help.

I always just tell the dealer to take the sticker off themselves. That or i won't buy the car.

a fingernail? if its the raised type, a bit of fishing line will carve it off like cheese. Followed by goof-off, mineral spirits, or even wd-40. e sure to clean it well and apply a good coat of wax.

Use a hair dryer, heat up the letters and peal them off, easy as that.

I've removed 2 of these things from 2 '02 Camaros. They're put on to stay (I don't get paid to advertise dealerships). I just get a corner up and start peeling slowly. Even if you leave the 'gunk' behind it's not hard to remove with some 'gunk' desolver.

exactly right, two of my friends work at dealerships, they both said this is what they do at the dealership

put the hair dyer on high, heat it up for like 2 minutes, then start picking at a corner untill you can grip it, then rip it, worked like a charm for me

Yeah definitely use the hair drier. But also have a cloth with warm water on it. Use the hair drier then rub the decal with the cloth with warm water.

don't ever get the dealer to do it, cause they'll **** it up! some adhesive remove from o'reillys works fine.
