well fbodies don't have oil temp guages.

Engine temp(fake on 99+), oil pressure, volts, fuel.

If you are referring to engine temp? the guage far left, don't pay attention to it, its fake, however if its moved into the red 260* its an indication its over heating.

its the oil pressure gage...its at 3/4 up...what does that usually imply? that my pressure is too great or no pressure at all?

so the engine temp gage is not accurate? what the hell is the point of it then?

if i recall the gauge is in 20 psi increments, and 40 is in the middle...so your gauge is at 60 psi all the time?

its not an engine temp gauge, its a water temp gauge. and it only shows normal operating temp, and when you overheat.. so it will stay in the middle of the gauge all the time, until you overheat, and then it goes to redline

so the oil pressure gauge is at 60 psi? yeah it doesnt start off like that but when i drive it around all day it stays at 60 psi or a little higher like 68 psi or so...is that an issue or should i just drive until it hits red then be worried?

Hows your oil level? Have you checked it lately? What kind of oil are you using? Changed it lately?

Mobil 1 5-30 synthetic is great im in central california its easy to find and not too expensive. Also normally when i start my car and first drive around my oil pressure willl hit 60 every once in a while this is normal until the car is warmed up. I dont think you have a problem on your hands though.... if you are concerned id get it checked out by a decent shop.

if your oil pressure guage is 3/4 of the way up absolutly nothing is wrong at all. 60psi is fine. Mine always around 60 when its cool out.

I use Mobil 1 10-30 and my gauge is always between 50 and 60. doesn't seem to matter whether the engine is warm or cold. don't think high pressure is a problem, only low.
