15% driveline reduction for a manual tranny...and closer to 20% if you have an automatic...however sinc gm underatted the ls1 pretty badly i'd say you have about 325rwhp...

true...or you could search to see what others have...or you can make a guess on the factory rating and their numbers and then the slp rating (20hp higher) added on to it...which would prolly only be about 10-15 rwhp

what if he doesn't want to spend the money on a dyno and just wants a guestimate like he originally said in his post...obviously the only way to know for sure is to get it dyno'd

Well, actually he said "what does it REALLY have at the rear wheels....and.....guesstimates welcome AS WELL..." so u gave him a guesstimate, and I told him how to find out what it really has. We all know one car could have rolled off the assembly line at 290rwhp, and the very next one could of rolled off at 310rwhp. So we both covered what he asked for in his post, and as you said obviously the only way to know for sure is a dyno so that's why I posted "theres only one way to know for sure.." Thats my .02, and your .02...

Anywhere in between, like they said. Just pick the higher number, and go with that one.

I say around 250rwhp.

Most likely 315rwhp or so if you've got a M6.

And since he said it has 345hp, it's an 02. So I'll agree with Unit and say 310-320rwhp for a 6 speed.

In NZL and AUS we calculate at about a 26% drive line loss to rear, so 345fwhp = 255rwhp.

just done a check. rwhp to fwhp= + 25% fwhp to rwhp= - 20%
so 345fwhp should be 276rwhp approx.
