White smoke from tailpipes during dyno run
It did the same thing when I revved the car up for a friend yesterday, a little bit of white smoke otu the exhaust in the upper rpm range. Then it did the same thing today during 3 dyno pulls, I'd say it's doing it from around 4000 up? Is it just running rich on the top end? I'm stock except for a lid and ported TB, so I wouldn't have thought the A/F would be off much.
What could be the problem? I'm a little worried that it could be something abit more serious.

Yeah, but I was thinking that would only happen once or twice. Then it would have cleared the exhaust out of carbon and it would stop. Since it' shte 4th time in 2 days I'm wondering if it's something else.

did your dyno runs come with a A/F chart on it? different color smoke mean different things. I cant remember exactly which ones mean what but I think its something like
blue smoke - oil burn, black smoke - rich fuel burn, and white being anti freeze.

Yeah your right. Man If it were black or a kinda grey smoke I wouldn't worry about it. Plenty of fuel injected vechicle's blow this color smoke at high rpms. But white smoke I would be kinda leary of. My car has done it a couple of times when I revved it up. But it hasn't done it in a long time. Have you just recently done any mods. My car every time a added something to it. I blew alot of water and moister out of by exhaust amd a white color steam. I guess this was from the cpu retuning. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) If this is the case don't worry about it.

Lingering billowy white smoke is generally antifreeze/water. If it were rich it'd be black. Oil is sorta tinted and you can smell that pretty obviously. I'd guess you might be seeing first hints of head gasket problem. Watch your water level. Squeeze your hoses when car is off and hot, make sure they are holding pressure for a while after shutoff. DON'T OPEN RADIATOR CAP HOT. Saw someone do that once, it wasnt' pretty. Watch your oil, if it turns milky then that's another sign, at least in LT1 it is, no experience with this on LS1 yet. If you have true duals, and it's only coming from one, that's another hint of head gasket.

They dyno didn't have air/fuel so I don't know what it's at. I'm getting a tune within a month after installing bolt-ons, so if it's still doing it then I'll see what Speed Inc. thinks it is.

Muffler and low spots in the exhaust pipe can also
accumulate water and only boil it out when it gets
good hot exhaust gas. Steam though will dissipate
while smoke will hang around. Burning antifreeze
has its own distinctive smell.
