What's the Cams specs? Tune?
I get 23-24mpg with 3/4 freeway driving 70-90mph with a 2.73 rear A4...only mods are a Magnaflow cat back and a Voalnt CAI. That's about 355-375 miles a tank, filling up with about .5-1.5 gallons left, usually get 15-15.8 into the tank. Any relevance?

I used to get 15 mpg with my 2002 T/A. That was with the stock cam and 3.23's.
A4's don't get nearly the same mileage as the 6 speeds are capable of. Some long tube headers should improve your mileage if you can keep your foot out if it...

When I first got my T/A I was getting about 20 mpg. A month later it started going down as I learned to drive it and push the gas pedal down a bit more
16 mpg is about what most people get around here.

I used to get 16 around town, 25 on the highway, 20s mixed. But I swear if I floored the pedal for a full run I could see the fuel gauge move about an 1/8 of a tank....and I heard this strange sucking noise, but I could not tell if it was the engine slurping down the gas or the gas companies sucking the money out of my pocket.

out of a full tank of gas i get about 350 miles i have a A4 with 2.73 rear, a host of bolt ons and just cat back exhaust, i'm not hard on it unless i'm really pissed off or racing though... i usually cruise at about a 55-75mph range on the streets, 75-85 on the highway...
If you changed your cam its prolly a good idea to get a tune on your car, whether for gas mileage or not, just to keep it safe and get teh most outta your mods.

It all depends on how you drive. I race my car on the track and drive it pretty conservatively on the street. I just punch it once or twice a trip to get in front of someone or the like. Driving it like my sedan I get about 20 around town and up to 30mpg on the freeway. I only get the 30 mpg on flat straight hwy with no crosswind. If I get any turns, crosswind or hills, it 28.5mpg is the best I can hope for. I use the cruise control a lot. I generally get at least 325 miles to a tank and have two gals or so left. My car has the 15.3gal tank. So, I guess the combined avg. is 24.5 mpg.
I have 3.73 gears 6spd and Dual Friction Clutch (maybe it minimizes slippage)
This car actually get just slightly better gas mileage than my 350Z. I can't believe that.
I probably only get 9mpg at the track however. It all depends how you drive the car and the tune you have it in.
I did notice a drop in the mileage and slight pinging at 40K. Used top engine cleaner to blow out the carbon. I really didn't notice any mileage changes however.
