Default Selling my Z, The best way

I want to sell my 00 Z in the next month or two, looking to buy a Electron Blue 02'-03' Z06. Where is the best places to post a car ad? I don't want to deal with Ebay. So whats the best classified sites to use and/or popular forums that would be instead in my car. I want it is get as much exposure as possible, will be gathering better looking pictures and vids over the next few weeks, and will probably make a website for it.

Pics if your interested

Dont ever, EVER not warn people that the car they are going to look at is a camaro with a ws6 style hood on it... Thats enough to kill any chance at a boner for the next six months.

Seriously, you could start by posting it up in the "vehicles for sale" forum.

I look at ls1tech quite often for cars and have sold one in auto trader. I highly recommend auto trader personally.

I had my car for sale for about 2 months, just sitting it on the side of the highway. I then put it on autotrader and it was gone within a week.

another vote for autotrader....you can place ads in magazines or online, then just put a link for your cardomain in there.

Found my T/A on Autotrader. I'm in CA and I bought it in TX, worked pretty well.

Thanks, I will definitely try autotrader. And any suggestions on a fair asking price? I'm not looking to sell it immediately so I can wait a little while and get a price I'm happy with.

So what do you guys think is a good asking price? I've looked on this site and autotrader and the range of pricing is all over the place, anyway from 12000 to 20000 for a car similar to mine.

I've sold a couple of cars on Autotrader but it all depends on what you're selling. For instance, I had my supercharged '97 Honda Civic on there and all I got were calls from kids wanting to come drive it. Being that it was modded probably didn't help either. Also, at any given time there's hundreds of Civic's for sale within a 100 mile radius...that didn't help my car stick out in the sea of common cars. On the other hand, I had a '96 Eagle Talon TSi AWD that sold within a week of putting it on Autotrader. I had people calling from 10 hours (driving distance) away. I ended up selling it for more than I was asking. What I'm getting at is that it all depends on what you're selling. People might not be looking for a Z28 with the way fuel prices are right now. So you may not get any decent hits on the car with autotrader. I suppose you could put in the ad that it gets 25+ mpg on the highway...that might help it sell. One other thing you might want to try is your local free ad paper. Around here it's called The Pennysaver. Anything I ever put in there has sold within days...including two beater cars I had. Good luck with your sale!

You could get between 10K and 12K for it.
