Remove EGR is one I can do correct?

What about the A.I.R. what does that do exactly. Im not familiar with it and what it does. Do I just make restrictor plates for them and my MAC headers?

Im doing a cam and headers with this while engine is out so any help or advise on doing some stuff would be nice!

Do the free ram air on the air box...gut the maf and buy a MAFT

 

I have a SLP ram air kit with my hood so thats taken care of.

What does a MAFT do? How much do they run?

Allows you to tune your MAF...

Has BASE and WOT settings

if you car runs lean at idle and WOT you can set it to a rich setting...and vise versa with if it runs rich....

I reccomend getting an A-tap too...

 

Is the A-tap just for scanning or can it actually set shift points and all like a HPP3?

Also what about A.I.R., can some one explain to me what this does exactly.

AIR pump...

Pumps in air on cold start to offset the AF.

I have mine off, but my pcm is programmed for it too.

 

I guess I will do that and egr later on when I get it custom programmed.

I got my programming from ARE for my new motor.

 

Who do you recommend for custom programing on LS1s?

ARE uses Superchips, I used to have Ed Wright (Fastchip) before that... I like 'em both.

Steve Cole (TTS) is very good but will only do programming if you keep your emissions stuff on the car.
