Question 1998 6.0L truck heads for 01LS1 good or ?

numbers on heads #1010q4402320 #0035518831522319 1.80 ex and 1.55 valve size alum heads will they increase my hp?? not 5.3L

they didnt make a 6.0 in 1998. it was either a 350 or a 454

Exclamation truck heads

my bad, their 1999 350 6.0L can these heads be machined to 2.02 or is it worth it?? don't know much about subject....

What are you hoping to do with your? The 6.0 heads are usually used for turbo/supercharger or large cubic inch engine applications.

Well good Q, I picked up these heads for $200 bucks Great shape! anywho somebody told me that they would increase my compression, like maybe the 5.3 stage II heads

I'm running o1 cameroLs1 with slp lid, 85m airflow, 228/cam/2500stall/373gears/shiftkit
mtdraglites...
i want tobe in the 12 second club.........no long tubes yet, wish list!!

i didnt know they had a alum. 6.0 truck head? i would double check that.

These r alum heads (will fit my 350ls1) but will they do anything for it?? HELP!!

don't waste your time! If you want more compression, have your existing heads milled.

Yeah, if they're iron heads, get rid of them. Waaaay too difficult to machine. If 12's is your goal, look into changing your cam(open to debate), get a bigger stall(IMO, 3200), and some long tube headers.

12sec club. to easy. set your goals higher. he is right i would go for a cam ,stall & headers! that will get it ib the 12s with a good tune & the rite cam. for the amount of machine work cost of parts vs. gain dont use those heads alum. or not! by the time you get out of the machine shop you will be way over 500 bucks. maybe a 1k. good heads are not to bad a price these days but, with out a good cam & headers you wont benifit alot.
