Exclamation SLP Lid Really worth it?

Is the SLP lid really worth the $100 bucks to get it? Does it really add 10 hp?

I'm pretty sure it does. I have the mti lid and mine + the K&N Filter added 12rwhp on my SS.

Any lid will perform about the same as SLP. No real difference other than appearance.

And yes, they all add about ~10rwhp. That should be anyone's first mod. It's easy, has no downsides, and the price isn't bad at all.

Yeah, you're not gonna find that $/hp ratio anywhere else. It's definitely gotta be done.

LOL, no new car. Just moved stuff around to condense it a little bit more.

I like the Whisper Lid the best. The newer ones come with a rubber seal/gasket around the neck for a better seal where it connects to the MAF. Whisper is the only one with that rubber seal as far as I know.

I had my first Whisper Lid on my '99 Z28 for a year, then my '00 T/A for over 4 years. It was still in perfect shape and fit perfect when I sold it with the T/A. Then I bought a new one for my '98 Z28 in '04, had that one going into the 3rd year now and it's never given me an issue.
