dude its pretty much self explanatory. follow all your tubing to the pump and take everything out and pull the a.i.r. fuse out from the fuse box under the hood. this is going to throw off the ses light though. if you have a tube going to your air box you will have to get a plug or make one

Dude, newbie section, if it was that self explanatory he wouldnt be asking.

If youre about to do headers, and youre getting the offroad headers, i would just wait until then to do the air removal, otherwise youre gonna have to make block off plates for the exhaust manifolds. As far as taking the air stuff out, just unbolt the tubes coming from the exhaust and trace all that stuff back to the air pump and just rip it out. You'll have to get tuned to get rid of the ses most likely, mine never actually came on. But if youre getting headers and stuff i assume you'll be getting it tuned soon anyway.

i just put PS long tube headers on my camaro. wasn't too bad. just reaching the last bolt on the stock exhaust manifold on the pass side. that took a while! lol my arm is still sore...

i was actually wandering about the tubes also. should I just plug it like z28maroman said or what?

on my first f-bod i just ripped all the air stuff out including the pump, then made block off plates for the headers, really really easy just follow the lines and start unbolting!

Good luck~!

Just rip that trash out and plug any wholes. Get it tuned and tune out the AIR system. Get rid of your cats while you're at it. Nothing like the smell of burning fuel in the morning.
