m6 = you have to move a stick every time you want to go into a different gear
a4= you put it and d and let the car do the shifting...

 

m6 is the new magic stick coming out in 2010 lol.. a4 is aluminum 4 lugs.....

This messageboard have alot of information that a newbie like you can absorb, just a click away. It also helps you not to get ridiculed with a bunch of smart asses veterans here. A4= Automatic 4 speed
M6= Manual 6 speed.

im usually not a dick to the newbies because i rememeber what it was like im sure we all do but come on you have to be a ******* idiot not to know the answer to this question my suggestion to the OP = orignal poster is to stay in the newbie & general auto section for as long as you can in fact dont leave untill you have read every sticky and about 30 threads i have had a long weekend so thanks for making it a little better
