depends if you want sound or every little bit of HP you can get.

LM2 - better flowing, worse sound quality
Flowmaster - worse flowing, good sound

LM2 does sound good, but the flowmaster sounds better.

I have a flowmaster on my car w/ LT's and its awesome. When I want it to flow, I just open up the cutout.

i got a loud mouth 2 setup and it gets compliments all the time
noone ever said anything with my old flowmaster setup the flowmaster didnt back fire right after a cold start when i put the clutch in though so, its got its pluses too

I think my LM2 sounds good with LT's and cats. Pretty tame with stock manis though.

buy the LM2 for the love of Pete! It has good sound, good flow, good price, is stainless - why is this even a debate?

if your not concerned about exhaust flow/power, get the flowmaster.

Buy a Dynomax ultra flow welded muffler off of summit for like 30 dollars and have a shop bend up a custom system for like a 100 dollars. Awesome flowing system and sound.

Personally I like the LM2 over the Flowmaster setup but eh... everyone has opinions.

If you have both why dont you put one on, see if you like it, put the other one on, make a decision. Yea it's a little work but it's worth it to have the sound you are looking for.

Me, I'm broke. I have LM1. Its louder than LM2, and was on my car when I bought it. I still love the sound though. I refuse to run a Flowmaster on anything other than my V6 now. I used one on my LT1 and was hated on for it, even though it sounded good.

sell them both get a cutout, it will out flow all the above mentioned except td's. It intimidating and thundering and with every mod you add, the better it will sound.
