Default 02 Nbm T/a

Just bought an 02 NBM T/A unmolested. I unfortunately have code GU2 for the 2.73s. What should I do first to spice up the appearance. I see some TAs have the lettering painted a chrome color. Raptor hood or WS6 hood? Also, what about rims... Chrome Z06s with red painted calipers? I plan on getting magnaflow exhaust as well! Input appreciated pics to come!

its all about what you think would look the best, it is your car do as you wish.

i have a black ss and love the red accents i added. the car came with red ss badges (factory) so when i ordered my SFC's i got the red ones, and i am going to paint my calipers red. that way its a good accent of red on a black car.

i think the C6 stock 5star wheel looks great on the t/a, clear front side markers, front plate bird vinyl and matching side letter overlay, rear filler panel and pontiac letter inlays, ceta mod is always a great idea, go for it

I think the first thing you should do is get rid of those 2.73's. Appearance 'mods are for Ricers...

Whatever you do, just don't ruin your car with C5 Z06's. The C6 style looks nice though.

What i think would look good, is to go with a wheel with a hyperblack center (charcoal) and then go with matching charcoal for the letter fill ins and badges. Then, if you go witha WS6 hood, go with the same color blackbird stripes on the hood.

I think the charcoal/NMB combo would look great. I'd like to do this to my car actually, but can't afford to go with new wheels to complete the look.

Oh, and congrats on the purchase, and great color! I love my NBM 'Bird!

Keep 'em and get a stall and built tranny. That is what I am saving for.

But vinyl overlays all around seems to set these cars off nicely... maybe even matching paint for the little vents behind the front wheels. Find a nice rim... or maybe just a set of newer ws6 wheels. Hell, I like the stock chromes... they just don't accomodate a lot of rubber.

Im thinking chrome overlays for the transam and bird on the front and rear, slp lid/lts/hooker catback, C6 z06 rims and red calipers! I'm thinking about the warbird hood or w/e its called... maybe raptor?

All depends on your taste, I really dont like corvette wheels on Trans Ams, I just dont think they look good. For the hood I like the WS6 and WS9 but cant stand the raptor or firehawk hoods, I just dont think they look as aggressive.Chrome emblems arent my thing either so it seems we have completely different tastes.

There are lots of pictures on here of all different things done to these cars, just look around and decide for yourself.

Go with TT2s from Tomzwheels. He is a sponsor on here. Look in the wheels/tires section. They list deals on all kinds of rims.
