an exhaust cutout. do a search on google and you will see pictures. Also it will not sound like *** with the muffler off it will sound good. Almost the exact same as a cutout will. And i would expect to at least gain 10 horsepower and 10 lbs of torque. There are lots of people who drive around with an open cutout most of the time and i am one of them.

I didn't notice any gains when I unhooked my muffler

just got a lot louder and I get nothing but compliments.

dont cut your muffler off just get the catback, and get a cut out put in incase you want to be louder sometimes

an open hole in your y pipe. the exhaust doesn't go back to the CB making it easier for it to flow

Why waste all that money on a fancy catback, when cutting the muffler off is free and sounds just as good, if not better?

For the price of a couple Sawsall blades, I think mine sounded pretty damn good. This is with stock manifolds and Y-straw. Power? Didn't really care because it sounds good.

just cut it off it'll look better being no tips on the camaro/ sound better/ free performance. i got a question for everyone that said no what is the difference between a cut out and no muffler at all????(besides the fact that the cutout is easier to cap off) like stated above if you dont like it than weld it back on done deal.

I cut mine off when I first got it and everyone love the way it sounded. I doubt there is any gains maybe a horsepower or two at most. Dont waste money on a cutout that your never going to close just cut it off.
