All I know is I want to see chad's car with some slicks. 2.1 60's and mid 11 sec times That thing is gonna be retarded with those qtp's. Make sure you get some arp studs if you havent already, dont go out there and pull a chris and get the the rim off. Car is damn stout with a cam only. I ordered some from thunder yesterday bout 3pm and they were on my doorstep at 11am when I went outside with ground service

Go to YouTube and search for indgofl0w...that's my username on there. I'm pretty sure your video finished uploading last night while I was asleep. Your best run starts at 6min and 30 secs. Also, the Miata's demise is at the very end
The poor bastard...

The other half of the six speed terror is coming back. I pulled the auto out today. So you boys better practice up
And the red 98 TA is getting my a3 and a stone stock ZO6. What do you think LS6+2800lbs+4800 stall will run? Will it go 10's with a completely stock LS6? We'll soon see

Interesting, considering that's the AVERAGE (estimated) that our guys are pushing in this forum (everybody is cammed, etc) granted that the Fox Body (when I say Fox Body, I allude to the engine's original home, and the weight of its chassis platform) is considerably lighter. I'm really curious as to what time that thing woulda run!

Furthermore, the most popular Miata swap that I know of entails an LS1. Poor choice IMO on the 302 decision. That has nothing to do with the turnout of the balancer spinning like a top...just based on the most popular and successful swap projects. Just my .02 cents...

Don't knock the SBF 302 platform. It does have HUGE potential! There is a lot of turbo SBF that are insane quick. Not saying that everyone can make them run like that though. Hell the quickest 10.5 car is a new bodied GTO with a SBF, one carb, a five speed stick shift (what they consider a stick shift in that class) and two direct port N2O kits. It runs 4.10s in the 1/8 at 177 mph!!! Now that is INSANE!!! Of coarse it doesn't hurt that the guy that owns and drives that car is Bob Glidden's son.

Billy Glidden is a SBF god. I have a picture of my car parked behind his what was then Pro Street Mustang @ RRR at the 1999 NMCA Fastest Street Car Shootout. We were in a rain delay for the final rounds. I was running in EFI 12. That guy is unbeatable and has a very small budget compared to everyone else in his class.
I also had a neighbor that had a 5.0 "Monster Miata" Mid 10's NA

I remember BG running pro stock for a few races back in the mid 90's. He was running NOS just to prove to the NHRA that it could be used without them finding it. That was back when the Dodge Boys were kicking everyones ***.

Thats what i was thinking. If you have a car running 5.83 why not show the full pass for one. Then two, why would you trade a $30,000 fuel injected car that can be driven anywhere for a $10,000 car that has to be tailored everywhere? I posted this video on 318Racing and they got all bent out of shape because they keep telling a guy on there how fast the mustang is and wanting to run his vette when he gets done with it. We run into Brittany at lakeshore last night and she was talking like josh wanted to fight over it, let hope so.
